I am including the recipe for this delicious, easy apple cake below - we asked the sisters to bring in one of their favorite things - and we guess what belonged to which sister. It was a fun time figuring things out and hearing why that item was picked as a favorite thing.

here is the soap that I made at home. Warning: do not make soap around children - we had to take Sura to the ER b/c he licked some of it before I put it in molds. batter:
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c sugar
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 t baking soda
- 2 1/4 c flour
- 1 c sour milk
- 2 c thinly sliced apples
mix all and fold in apples, pour into 9x13 pan
topping:
- 1.4 c brown sugar
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)
mix all and sprinkle on top of cake
bake 350* for 30-35 minutes or until done - do not over bake. Bake with love
