Tuesday's Enrichment

Here are some pictures from our Relief Society Birthday Celebration. We had relaxing evening visiting, quilting and just getting to know one another. It was a fun night!

above: a old fashioned craft display - the quilt in the background was made by Jessica Chyko.

above: Our food table and favorite thing display. I am including the recipe for this delicious, easy apple cake below - we asked the sisters to bring in one of their favorite things - and we guess what belonged to which sister. It was a fun time figuring things out and hearing why that item was picked as a favorite thing.

above: our quilting sisters! Sorry I'm not a good photographer - no one wanted to look at the same time and smile!

here is the soap that I made at home. Warning: do not make soap around children - we had to take Sura to the ER b/c he licked some of it before I put it in molds. If you would like directions on how we made this soap - contact Megan Allen or you can browse this website. It is very informative.

Hi there Sisters!

Sorry there hasn't been a post for a while, we are working out some bugs so that Sister LaForney can post too!

Day of Faith: Personal Quests for a Purpose - 3. Rachel Esplin from Harvard Hillel on Vimeo.

In the meantime, if you have about 20 minutes - watch this great video - it is a young woman @ Harvard being grilled by journalist Sally Quin. I wish I were so well spoken! Here is the blog I watched it on.
